CRP is a non-specific indicator of inflammation and one of the most sensitive acute phase reactants. That means that it is released into the blood within a few hours after an injury, the start of an infection, or other cause of inflammation. Markedly increased levels can occur, for example, after trauma or a heart attack, with active or untreated autoimmune disorders, and with serious bacterial infections, such as in sepsis. The level of CRP can jump as much as a thousand-fold in response to bacterial infection, and its rise in the blood can precede pain, fever, or other signs and symptoms.The CRP test is not diagnostic, but it provides information to your healthcare practitioner as to whether inflammation is present, without identifying the source of the inflammation.
Intended use
The C Reactive Protein assay kit is suitable for quantitative determination of CRP in human whole blood / serum / plasma in vitro.

Storage Conditions and Expiry Date
The reagent card in the kit is stored in the sealed state of the aluminum foil bag at 2℃~8℃, valid for 18 months; If the effective date printed on the aluminum foil bag package is not exceeded, the reagent card sealed in the aluminum foil bag package can be stored stably at temperature (2℃~30℃) for 30 days. The temperature change during transportation (<37℃) has no effect on product quality. Aluminum foil bag after unsealing reagent card, product stability time is 1 hour.
What does CRP positive mean?
If your results show a high level of CRP, it probably means you have some type of inflammation or bacterial infection in your body. A CRP test doesn't explain the cause or location of the inflammation. So if your results are not normal, your health care provider may order more tests to figure out why you have inflammation
