The PocRoc® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test Kit（TRFIA）uses Time Resolved Fluorescence Immunochromatographic Assays (TRFIA) technology to qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus nucleocapsid protein, which is an important conserved structural protein of SARS-CoV-2 in human nasal/ oropharyngeal samples. The detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen can be used to assist the diagnosis of novel coronavirus infection, and is helpful for the early detection of novel coronavirus pneumonia infection in the latent period.

Intended use

Storage Conditions
All reagents are ready to use as supplied. Unopened reagent kits are stable at 4°C ~30°C for 24 months tentatively. It should be used within 1 hour once the pouch is opened. Do not freeze the kit or expose the kit above 37°C during storage.
Test Procedures
1. Please read the instructions of the product thoroughly before performing the test.
2. Place the extraction tube on the workbench. The extraction reagent bottle is pressed vertically downward to the extraction tube.
3. Put the swab specimen into the extraction tube, rotate the swab for about 10 seconds, and press the swab head against the tube wall to release the antigen in the swab. Squeeze the swab over the head to remove the swab so as to remove as much liquid as possible from the swab. Dispose of swabs according to biohazard waste disposal method.
4. Take out the strip from outer packaging, place it horizontally on a clean table and mark it. (The strip should be used within 1 hour).
5. Cover the tube with cap, then add 100 μL (3 drops) specimen into the center part of sample well of the cassette.
6. The data can be read and printed out within 15 ～ 30 min using TRFIA analyzer (For detailed information refer to the operating instructions for TRFIA analyzer). A UV flflashlight can also be used to illuminate the detection area. Qualitative result can be obtained according to the flfluorescence intensity of the detection lines.
